The MDOC: Reform and Responsibility

Officer Rasheen McClain
Detroit Police Department
It has happened again, another police officer has been killed in the line of duty. I went out last Monday to two events. Early in the morning, I drove an hour to support our new Attorney General, Dana Nessel. I think if I'm going to advocate for prisoners that the leader of the Prosecutors is someone that I should become thoroughly engaged with. I made a statement, with the hopes that she would remember me. I took pictures of her and posted them to my Yaktown page on Facebook, because she matters. After over 20 years of Cox and Schutte, it is comforting to know that there is someone that is fighting for the ordinary people that exist in Michigan. The Seniors and children that has been forever scarred by the sexual abuse of the clergy in the Catholic Church. I applaud all her efforts and good work, thus far. Knowing that we have a long road ahead of us in the state. After my eye appointment, I went to Clarkston, and a "Coffee and Chat" with Senator Rosemary Bayer. Like in Sylvan Lake, the people didn't know how to take me. Senator Bayer didn't either. She knows she has to be diverse. The people that live in Clarkston, live there, because there are few Black people there. They don't have to deal with us on a regular bases. Seeing me sent them in to a kind of frenzy, and they were texting and making funny faces. When I spoke to one man, he tightened up as if to say, "I am not warming up to you!" I digressed.

Attorney General Dana Nessel
The reason that I put myself through so much anguish, sitting in the room with people that don't like me, is not that I want to fit in to a specific group. What I want more than anything is for those in a particular group to warm-up to the idea that prison reform is necessary. Many people may not see the correlation between police deaths and prison reform, but I do. It's something that I am going to constantly bring to the forefront of societal woes. People go to prison and don't do anything. There is no real structure for reform or the possibility of a better day. They get out and there are no jobs for PhD. and Master's workers, let alone someone that has done time. All they can do is get a job in fast-food or a plant that over works you and don't give you any quality of life. I saw a man on "Flash Point", with Devin Scillian that said that he went to prison for "Murder". Murder is really hard to explain away, and so is "Stalking". With both there is an element of being out of control. An employer would be weary of the next time you will lose control. The next time you get so angry that you kill someone or a customer walks in and you can't control you attraction towards that individual. You become a strong liability in their eyes, because you have no sense of when to stop. So, what do you do? This man went to school and so did I. It really doesn't matter to people that you are educated, most just see a criminal that can't understand boundaries.

Senator Rosemary Bayer
Michigan 12th District
Having been a prisoner myself, I can relate. The way some people in prison think is beyond me. I had one woman try and make me feel bad about sitting alone on the yard. "Ah, you talk about me, because I got a girlfriend. At least I'm not sitting on the yard by myself!" She pointed and laughed at me. I didn't even reply. My friends were coming out soon and she wasn't even worth my time. I didn't care who had a girlfriend. She cared that she had to get a girlfriend, because she was weak. My friends came later and she walked by and her face was in shock. I felt so sorry for her. At one point we had been friends. She had put so much emphasis on "My [her] man". The two of them had robbed a gas station. She had two children and they had one together. Three people depended on her and the only way she could find to help them and herself was to rob someone. I asked her, "Didn't you ever think you would get caught and go to prison?" She looked at me, like I was stupid, "Yeah, but it's what my man wanted to do. I'm a ride or die! My mother went to prison, so, I knew I would end up here." I nodded, because I had made my mind up to be a "ride or die", too. But it all seemed to be so different. In her case, someone could have been killed. An innocent person that just was in the wrong place at the wrong time. No one ever knows the outcome when a gun is involved.

Hindsight is 20/20, and many women just made a clueless mistake. A mistake that cost them a fraction of their lives. How do we get people to understand their outcomes, when they have never been held accountable. These women get up in the morning and do nothing. They are controlled by women that have superiority complexes and no real rule book on how things should be done. They cut the prison budget first. Letting them know that they are last on the list of reforms. You take people that are under-educated and lost and tell them that they are worthless and that's how they will act. There are people that have been to prison as letters in the alphabet, and now are working on double letters. The school system has failed them, society has failed them and their parents have failed them. I think that it is time that we held prisoners to a higher standard and show them we care. I suggested in Clarkston that we get the 100K men that we have in the prisons to help, "Fix the damn roads". All they do all day is sit around and talk smack and one thing or another. One man made a reference to the prisoners not being trusted with shovels. Letting me know that non-prisoners are ignorant, too. Let's put them to work, and not in "Brubaker" fashion, but in a way that they help the system in a productive way.  These plans take time to implement, but with time it could work. California uses prisoners in the wild fires. We can use them to fix our roads. The men that we have out there make over $25 an hour. You could get away with paying a prisoner $5 a day.

Lt. Governor Garlin Gilchrist
I vet these people all the time. I go to places where they are so that they will remember me. I show my strength and intelligence so that they can see that I'm someone they can trust and that I will do a good job. When Garlin Gilchrist came to Pontiac on his "Thriving Cities" crusade, I wasn't included. It hurt, but I know they know that I am in the fight forever, and that my opinions must be heard. These people we lock-up and don't give a second thought to will be back. They mustn't be disenfranchised, and made to feel that they do not matter. The men and women that serve as watch over them have to be held accountable, too. If we make a plan and put it in action, we do not have dead cops. Our cities will never thrive without a prison system that works! We don't have as many victims to sooth and make stiffer penalties, because stiffer penalties just make for sore criminals. The State has to start by taking their job seriously and cutting the "red-tape" and dealing with people like humans. I know it will take a long time, but our community is worth it! Don't you think so?

Sister...Sister: Mavis and Melissa

Kenneth Burch & Associates
I just left the Oakland County Substation. Lieutenant Ford, told me that I have issues with my complaint. He says that it has been so long since Paul McDougal beat on my old ex-best friend that he can't do anything about it. Plus, she never reported it to the police. "Where is all the evidence, and that was 20+ years ago!" In other words, he's not going to do anything. McDougal after lying on me several times came to my home last summer. He says the police can't make the decision to not go to someone's house. If they get a call and they are dispatched, they must go on that call. I told him, I find that incredible that the police can't make a choice that would keep them out of trouble. I explained that if I was dead and bleeding, I don't want Paul McDougal at my house! He said "for [me] you" he would make it possible that McDougal is not be dispatched to my home. Now, this man was lead detective in the bogus case that sent me to prison. One that was set-up by him and then Denise Brainard, Oakland County Prosecutor. Who after I got finished doing a four year bid on a 90-day PSI statutory limit sentence, went to my so-called victim. Told him that he had saw me and I had asked about him. For all of you that know me I'm not dumb. I'm not dumb at all. I would never even speak to him!

Ford kept lying to me. So, I came home looking for what to do next. I got on the phone and this nice female deputy, they ain't all bad, gave me some advice and connected me to where I needed to go. So, I left a message for Captain Ewing to give me a call back and maybe we can sit down and have a conversation. Because that one with Lt. Ford didn't go well. To see if I could get some information to have about the subject, I called my long-time friend Kenneth "Kenny" Burch. He has been practicing law in the City of Pontiac for about 25-years. I paid him close to $1000 dollars to get me out of a "pickle" in Waterford, about 20-years ago. I was driving with expired tabs, no insurance, the '77 Cutlass didn't have working seat belts, my right signal was broken and my license were suspended. The cop was going to let me go, but then I evokes O.J. and my blackness and he wrote me all five(5) tickets and towed my car. One of the Johnson Girls, my cousin Tiffany, late and on time, took me to get my car that day. Seeing that Bloomfield had suspended my license for failure to pay and I had made a payment plan to pay, I didn't have money to pay all five(5) tickets.

That fall, I started getting the notices and ignored them. Until, one said "A warrant would be issued for your [my] arrest". Before work one day, I drove to Waterford to be heard on the tickets. Well, with the times that I had ignored those notices, the Waterford judge wasn't happy. She was about to send me to jail on the "Driving on a Suspended License" ticket, because it's a Misdemeanor that I could get up to 90-days for. She actually looked at me and said just that, "You just can't ignore our notices and walk in here when you get ready! Now, your going to the Oakland County Jail to think about it!" At the time, I hadn't been to "jail, jail", but the bailiff saved me. Still "green", I had no idea that the bail for all lower-Misdemeanors is $100. He took me gently by the arm and said, "If you call your mother and tell her to come pay the $100 bond, we can release you from here and you don't have to go to jail." I was dazed from the verbal beating I had just taken and shocked that he was helping me. I managed to muster a, "Okay." He still ever so gently, turned me towards his desk and a phone. I called my mother, and told her my dilemma.  She went downstairs to my landlord, who had just retired, or he would have been working at that time of the morning. He was just starting to have problems with his glaucoma, but managed to drive to the credit union and to the Waterford courts.

I had to be at work that morning, still "green", I thought that I would finish up and be at work by 10, when the store opened. I was two hours late. I had thought that it would be like Bloomfield, I walk in, say I'm sorry and make payment arrangements. Nope, that woman was a barracuda and even when I said weakly, "...but I'm a college student!" Her face went from worse to bad. She just hit the gavel and said, "You still are..." I was so afraid, I had managed to piss-off the officer and the judge in Waterford. I kept losing, because they just Black folk that live on water. They come hard and I was so frustrated and Kenneth "Kenny" Burch, came into the store. He was scouting some weights and stuff. He later would come in with his wife and purchase the weights and we talked. He told me that Waterford was tough. I asked him how much it would cost. I had paid off the ticket that I had in Bloomfield that had suspended my license, but Waterford was  holding me up from getting them back. I asked him how much he would charge me to take the case. He said $1000. At the time it was coming up on Christmas and I was making a bit of change. I had to pay him and buy a new car. The "Doper Ride" was getting me in too much trouble.

Before court I paid him $750, before court and we had to meet three times, because one judge bailed at Thanksgiving to go up-North to hunt. I paid him and in full before our last appearance, but then there was Mavis. Mavis Peters is a Pontiac person. She and her sister Melissa and they both went to Pontiac Central and are well-known by everyone. Melissa is married to ex-Councilman Art McClellan, who couldn't find a backbone if she was eating turkey-tails.  It figures that she's an Oakland County Sheriff's Lieutenant. She got promoted while I was there the first time in 2011. She heard me on the ticket, when I refused to go to court in the morning. I always sat down there all day, because I had court in the afternoon. All the other women went in the morning, then they just poured cold air through the vents as punishment for not prostituting and telling folk about it. One morning, I just didn't go and told the Sergeant that he could come and get me at noon. That didn't work for the deputy and Supervisor. I got a ticket, and yes, a Sergeant does out-rank a deputy and Supervisor, but this Sergeant was Black. You know how that went. Melissa came and told me to buy a long john shirt and never refuse to go to court, again. I said "Okay". I would never give a sister who hadn't done anything to me a problem, unless she was acting like them "other people".

Mavis Peters
Legal Secretary
Mavis isn't so simple. She works for Kenny Burch and I believe she's his "work-wife". The very first time I met her, she asked me my name. I told her, and then she asked, "And what business do you have with Kenny!" She emphasized "Kenny", because I didn't call him "Mr. Burch" or "Attorney Burch", but called him by his nickname, "Kenny". I said that I was there to hire him. She looked sly and asked me to hold on. I waited and waited and a young woman came to the window and summoned me to the back. Mavis and Kenny were coming out the back room and she had stated loudly, "I'm not doing one bit of paperwork on it." He quietly said, "You won't have to." Not to state a fact, but to appease her. He seem tussled and worn, and I immediately thought they were either having some kind of sex or he was really tired, to be so disheveled. He ushered me into a conference room, we went over the contract and I left. Kenny made no reference to anything about Mavis, what she said or her nasty disposition that is real, today. I had court and didn't want to drive, because my plate was wrong, because I didn't have insurance, license and hadn't transferred the plate from the Cutlass "Dope Ride" to my new Tempo. I just took it off the Cutlass and put it on the Tempo. He didn't really want to, but he drove. The next time, the hunting judge time, my sister took me. The last time, I just drove, because Mavis called his wife and told her that we were on our way back to the office.

When we got to Huron and Palmer, his wife was waiting for us at the corner. He whispered, "There she goes." He turned onto Palmer, and his side was on her driver's side and he asked, "What, you need the car?" She looked up at him like he was caught. I was wondering if she and Mavis had a contract to share him, or did she just have her "snowed" that good. Everyone knows that lawyers have sex with their secretaries. My uncle, a lawyer, has a child with one of his. I wondered, too, how she knew we were coming,. Maybe the police or a friend at Waterford courts told her. I know the Peters' sisters are deep in the corruption in Pontiac. Melissa Peters is a pimping deputy, I know, because she keeps being promoted in the Annex. Nobody is promoted down there, without having to do with the prostitution ring. That's why I got so much help when I was there. There are very good deputies that work there that should be promoted, but because they aren't in the ring, they go unpromoted. That's the reason so many want out the Annex and out of being a turn-key. So, Mavis calls Kenny's wife and puts her onto me, when it's her she has to be worried about? The next time I met with him and we were alone in his office, his son was out in the hub talking to Mavis and the other women that worked for the other attorneys. I was so angry, because unlike her, I don't mess with people husbands. I don't understand why his wife doesn't know, it's been 25-years and Mavis doesn't have a husband. Is she a loser or what? I would be asking a woman that doesn't have a man about it, if I was his wife. Maybe she knows and doesn't care.

She has never even been married! How can everybody not know she and Kenny are in a relationship? I call him today, to ask about what Lt. Ford said and he can only talk a few minutes. Now, it's not just that I'm attractive, but her pimping sister that she's trying to protect. I forgot that her sister even was a lieutenant with the Oakland County Sheriff Department. This time when she asked what this was concerning, I said "The Oakland County Sheriff Department." Maybe she thought that I was going to try and sue them or something. Kenny, just as sorry as Art McClellan, hurried off the phone with some excuse about having to take another call. I don't mess with other people husband, I repeat, I don't mess with other people's husbands. Why after 20+ years Mavis is still trying to keep Kenny and me apart is beyond me. "You only see in others, what you see in yourself" and she is foul. All these years messing with that woman's husband. His wife used to work at the library at Jefferson and I would never do that to her. She is a beautiful woman. Kenny obviously loves her, because he takes good care of her and bought her that huge house on Huron and she doesn't even work. Mavis posted a picture of a house she bought in Seminole Hills. She's trying to compete with the lavishly decorated previously YWCA building. My friend visited Kenny there years ago and spoke of the home as "Beautiful". Mavis is still trying to show the home she bought on Facebook as if it is lavish. Why does she want her house to be so big? She doesn't have any children. A two-bedroom condo would suffice.

Look, I don't want to seem mean or anything, because my situation seems to be the same. Don't let his Facebook page fool you. I don't go with nobody's husband! I never have and I never will. I don't play seconds to anyone. I don't want anyone's life and I'm not a slut and I'm somebody's wife. Kenny brought his wife into Sears, gave her cash in front of me and sent her to shop, while he got his weights. She was hesitant, but left, anyway. Mavis was probably feeding her all kinds of stuff about me and Kenny can't do anything about it. Mavis knows all his secrets on the job. You know how dirty lawyers are, even if they are as good at faking innocent like Kenny, you know he has some serious skeletons and she is the ribs. He's never going to get rid of her and maybe he doesn't want to. Maybe he can't live without her. Maybe he's the type of man that needs two women. I can tell you this, I won't be one. I'm the one and only or there will be a problem. Melissa has ex-drug offenders as friends and when I called it out on Facebook, she blocked me. She has these eyes that to me, look like she has smoked "The Rock of Gibraltar", before she got to work. She wears glasses to hide them. They are always glossed over and look like she's been crying all day. She'll blame a stigmatism, but I'm going to blame crack. Who has a husband that works for GM and she has a good job and still has to get involved with prostitution? I don't know, and it's just how I see the whole thing...

DTE, Comcast, Genisys, the State and Me

I hate to say this, but I have an issue with a public works organization. Mainly, I have an issue with DTE Energy. Back in the Summer of 2013, after I got off the Val Gross case, I got a few bills. The first notice was from my credit union. Genisys Credit Union that was first T&C Credit Union, and serviced half the city, because they serviced the plant workers. They are a staple in this city. Well, they used to be. Fifteen years ago, you couldn't get in the door. The line wrapped around three times, and you can forget the drive-thru. The State of Michigan had withdrew 35% of my money out of my account. I straightened that out, but then there was the letter from Comcast that said that I owed them over $900. Someone had gotten a security system from them, in my name, didn't pay for it and stole all of the equipment. Last letter, was from DTE telling me that I had three houses with lights and gas on in my name. That's what they do to me. They try to "pile on the misery". Most recently, they refused to give me the tab on my SUV. They claim that I need to bring proof of my insurance to my local Secretary of State (SOS). I rented a car from Enterprise Car Rental, another shady organization, the man asked me for proof of insurance. I told him that I have insurance, but I don't have the proof. Before this, I was bombarded with flyers to get my airbag recall taken care of.

These people, the ones trying to destroy my life are cunning. I got a flyer every-other-day. Finally, I needed to just go in and straighten out the situation. When I got there, there was an option to get a rental for the day. That's when the question came up about the insurance. A weeks later, it would be my birthday. I got the card that would help me pay for my tab renewal and jumped on the SOS website to get my tab weeks before my birthday. A notice came up, "You will have to show proof of insurance." Now, I know my man isn't crazy and he would be liable for me, if I didn't have insurance a hit someone, got in an accident at all or God forbid, I killed someone. My car would be parked if I didn't have insurance. I still drive however, because I have insurance and valid license. I'll fight a ticket. If fact, last year, when he first started to pay, I was pulled over by a cop that lied and said that I ran a stop sign. He said, "Remember, you have to make a complete stop at a stop sign. Even if there is no traffic to stop for." Shocked I replied, "Okay." But the "No Contact" clause in my relationship, makes it a difficult stipulation. They do things that make me think it's is my man doing it. So, I get mad at him and our relationship can be dissolved by their lies. Since the whole insurance payment thing, I don't believe that anything negative that happens to me is his fault. Those three damning and irritating things happening to me all at once were meant to break me, but I'm not easily broken.

Back then, I didn't know what the real issue was. My credit union, DTE and Comcast seemed to be ganging up on me. I straightened out all the issues with phone calls. Comcast has never acknowledged any fake accounts in my name. I had cable in my name at my house for about 12 years. I was never told about another account that I had opened. While in jail the last time, someone dissolved that account and forced my mother to put cable in her name and sent me a check for the balance she had paid. Last summer I got a job. I was called into the office and fired for nothing and the company was told that I was unhireable. My food stamps were cut. My Social Security was cut and my bank stopped paying my car payment and I was hit. My mother never offered me a penny to help. My man that could, but doesn't have contact with me, had to give up and help. Everything was out of control and I was so stressed out. Everything got taken care of, and a year later, I'm back on track. Accept my tab on my car in 2019. I don't leave my house to do anything, but buy groceries and wash clothes. My man tells me that I have insurance and my licence are good. The only thing that I will get a ticket for is "No Proof of Registration". I am to go home and call and get a court date to fight it. They want me to think that I have no insurance at all, and that if I get stopped my car will get towed.

The State of Michigan is their biggest bully. Not only do they fix it that I have no insurance on the website, but they threaten the women in the jail. If a woman tells that they are being sold in the jail, the State has women that work for the Oakland County Jail, and will take a woman's children. Their children can be in a safe and warm place and they will take them out of a place of peace, and put them in the Foster Care System and we know what that can be like. They cut my food benefits a month early to try and give me a one-two punch and failed. My case worker found herself in an administrative hearing and giving my benefits back to me. By the time I got them, however, it was November. It was October, when SSA gave me back the money they took from me prematurely. Those orders came from the Pontiac Office. They dish out benefits at will and have tried to cut mine several times. I was found "Not Guilty" in the Gross case, and I was supposed to get $5K of backpay. Do you think I got a dime? Whenever you get arrested and charged with a crime, and you get found "Not Guilty" you get all of your back-pay that you are out of fighting your case. Deputy Alder cuts me off aid as soon as I get to jail and he sees that I'm not participating in prostitution. The prostitutes continue to get their food stamps, State aid and SSI, while in jail. They sold their food stamps to friends for money and my girl Lisa's sister paid her rent, because when she got out, all her checks would be in the bank and she would paid her sister back. I was always shut off after the first month. The rules say that I am entitled to my first check, because I hadn't been in jail the entire month. When I got home, they would cut my check for a "overpayment".

Last year, it happened, again. DTE had allowed someone to put lights and gas in homes in Detroit. I haven't had lights in my name, since 1998, and I even had a balance fraud the fraud they allowed to happen. A young man that works for DTE, when asked why they turned on lights and gas in a home, when I have a balance on my name? "Well, ma'am the balance wasn't over $200. We will turn on customers with a balance, less that that amount." My only reply was, "Are you serious?" But I was yelling. The last time, it was Inkster, Detroit and some city in the Northern part of Michigan. My niece who frequented the jail at one time, also had her identity stolen. They also had gotten a Meijer card up there, too, IN MY NAME. No one has my information like that, but the county jail. Early 2018, I discovered that there was three new houses in Detroit with lights and gas on in my name. I had a fit and DTE told me they couldn't turn them off, because I could be the scammer. Why would the scammer call and get the lights cut off? I was cussing and loud talking. They even refused to give me any information on the accounts. I kept getting bills and letters in the mail like crazy. I was so frustrated with DTE, but this wasn't the first time, but the other times were different, before the "weed growing houses" they have in Detroit. Someone told me that if I have a $300 bill for a month of service that someone was using my likeness for a marijuana "grow house" in Detroit. Well, "grow houses", because there was three of them. She also said that most of the time the police knows about them. I thought that figures, because it was the Sheriff's Department is the ones that are handing out my info!

Besides, DTE will shut off the grid in my area. Leaving my mother and I in the dark for 24-hour. They don't think I'm going to leave my house, but one of the five times it happened, I did. I could look out our side window and see that Perkins Street has lights. That's the street the "Great Mattie Hatchett" lives on. They never shut off her grid, just ours. On the night that I went to my aunts, we were the only grid off in this area. I called a friend of mine that lives near Perdue, and he had lights. They will shut our lights off at will. Keeping every light on around us. They wanted me to believe that's my man, too.  He never wants me alone and in the dark, especially when he's not there to protect me. We've had about four refrigerators in the last five years. It's a scam the workers pull to get refrigerators to fix up and sell. One young man came into the house, reached into the freezer and ripped the back out of it. In doing that, he exposed the coils that runs through the back that makes it cold. I bugged my eyes out and and asked, "What you do that for?" He told my mother and me that they make fridges to breakdown and not be fixed. I wanted to ask him, "If that's true, why do you still have a job?"

Our landlord has a insurance thingy. If the stove or refrigerator breaks, they fix it or get a new one. When the men come and get the old ones they fix them and sell them, but the ABC Warehouse and Home Depot has to do something to them, before they get to our house. It's another scheme and another reason Michigan is the most corrupt state in the union. They have created a scam out of broken refrigerators. The fourth, that we have now, is broken and making noise. It will conk out any minute now, and DTE is quick. They'll be here in less than two days. The crooked work men will say it is unrepairable and we'll have a new one in less than three days. Our landlord is efficient and will head out to the store the very next day, and it will be delivered the day after that. Sears had a similar deal with water-heaters and washers and dryers. I told you that they created cash receipts on returns and one receipt for a $799 treadmill was refunded four or five times. Big ticket items are BIG business, but so is marijuana, money laundering, State benefits, Federal benefits and prostitution.

The Great White Hope: Wayne State University

Mike Duggan
Mayor, City of Detroit
I can't tell you the feelings that I had the day after my last post. Mike Duggan and the Governor of Michigan sat on a stage, while people cheered. Wayne State had announced that students that graduated in 2020 would get free tuition. I never knew exactly what it meant, because the young people in the class of 2020 had already paid for their tuition for the Fall semester and the only semester left was the Winter. It is still so confusing, because now, the President of Wayne State has been fired; I think. Instead of looking like a liar, cheater, money launderer and bid-rigger, looked more like a stellar example of what a Mayor should be and look like in this country. Seated, I might add, on the dias with our Governor, Gretchen Whitmer. Remember, Dan Gilbert of Quicken Loans gave Kilpatrick $240K when he was in jail. So, Dan Gilbert has had his hands in Detroit's business for a long time. He was patient and waited for a man, if not the man, Mike Duggan to take office. Now, he is getting incentives to build all kinds of stuff in Detroit that includes the new Wayne County Jail. This is what I'm telling you. It is obvious that Kilpatrick and Gilbert were working to get things done. He wanted this take over, back then, back during Kilpatrick R.I.C.O. Investigation.  Roger Penske and John Nicholson chipped in, too. All of these men had a hand in making sure that Kilpatrick was on their side.

Why? Why are all these highly recognized men of Detroit giving away money to a common thug and ex-con? My mother gives me money, because she loves me. Just like when I was a little girl and whined about wanting a candy bar in the store. She bought that piece of candy, because she loved me and did not want to see me unhappy. Even if Kilpatrick had just been released from prison, I doubt if any of these men loved Kilpatrick so much that they wanted him to live in luxury. He took a portion of that money and bought a mini-mansion in an upscale neighborhood in Detroit. We clearly know that he got the loan from that home from Quicken Loan. It was all over the news when it happened. Everyone speculated, but we know why. Kilpatrick knew their secrets and they had did some real dirty business, while he was in office and they didn't want him to tell their "wrong-doings". Duggan, a more likable Mayor, stellar speaker and a great big phony, can get more done. Those in charge, including Gary Brown, a Detroit Police Officer that hated Kilpatrick in more comfortable with Duggan, too. He is a part of Duggan's administration. In 2015, Brown was made the Director of the Water and Sewage Department in Detroit. As you recall, Christine Beatty, Kilpatrick's mistress and a far cry from a OBGYN, and Kilpatrick joked about Brown. He was pressing Kilpatrick for help with the Police Department lawsuit he'd filed against the city.

Ex-Detroit Police & City Council Member

Now, there is two things that Brown's obnoxious ways were about. One, he might be a snitch trying to pull Kilpatrick in some sort of set-up. Remember, Kilpatrick didn't want anything to do with Brown. Beatty and Kilpatrick, dodged his every advance. If someone calls you, after you fire them, they got something on you. I always say this, but it's true, cops know everything about you. Even if there is nothing they can do to you, they still know and can use that information to get what they want. That brings me to number two, extortion. We can't rule out "snitch" and Gary Brown, because he ended up testifying against Kilpatrick in his trials. Now, we have an ex-cop that has been working in the system and knows what's going on. He needs money, because he probably had his hands in dirty deals in Detroit and now, he doesn't have that money coming in anymore. He was awarded $8.4M. Why does he even need a job, anymore? Why is still working for the City of Detroit? That is another question that needs to be answered. He was hated by cops, because he was Internal Affairs. Like I said, he knew everybody's business in the Detroit Police Department, and no one was going to let him in and give him a chance to make a dime. What does he do, try to shakedown Kilpatrick. Kilpatrick wasn't having it and wasn't willing to "play ball".

The reason that Duggan is so hard to get is his passive nature. He hired a man to work for Detroit that sued the city and won money. Something that the city needs so badly. The people even elected him to City Council. So, we know that Detroiters are special kind of people. They had faith in Kilpatrick, even if he couldn't make a positive move, while in office. Just like Obama, and for different reasons, he couldn't get anything done. People like Duggan, he's "The Great White Hope". He can get things done, where Kilpatrick failed, due to his "ghetto" image. He dodged Brown, told his administration to avoid him and don't give him one penny of city money. What does Mike Duggan do, he hires Brown, and gives him charge of the biggest Public Works Department in the city. It's been 10-years, but I can just imagine that people wanted to be blessed with a better more qualified criminal than Kilpatrick. He just didn't seem to be able to "play ball" with "The People". Mike Duggan, he did not make that mistake. The real people of Detroit, the citizens, they have yet to be compensated. They do not hold a position that he feel warrants an answer expediently and lack barter power. They have nothing to give in exchange for housing, lead removal or combatting blight So, they are forced to live in a run-down Detroit, while men like Gilbert get rich. We know what Gilbert wanted, because he got it. Penske and the Detroit Grand Prix and Nicholson, waste protection. He probably wanted city contracts for chemical cleaning and disposal of his waste. I am purely guessing. Now, there is Roy Wilson, President Wayne State University.

Roy Wilson, Wayne State University, President
Wilson is Japanese, but if you close your eyes when he talks, you can swear he is a Black man. You might ask what that has to do with anything. We know that Gilbert, Penske and Nicholson are business men. That consists of all kinds of dirty business. But when a man gets fired and says he's not going anywhere. That's a "n*gga move". After a summer romance and a Black man moves in. Try and tell him that he's leaving in the middle of the winter. He will reply just like Roy Wilson, "I ain't going nowhere!" Duggan called Wilson with a "Quid pro Quo". That's not lost on me. My favorite movie is "Silence of the Lamb". I had to look it up, when Hannibal Lecter was playing a game with Starling for information. "NO, 'quid pro quo'". He told her, "You tell me things and I'll tell you thing". With that phrase, he entered her mind. I wondered what got Duggan in Wilson's mind? A new dorm, a theater or some project meant for the city to share. How'd they get the Governor there, because the members of the board said it was a "last minute" thing. We know how Duggan works, and he is strictly "Quid pro Quo". He exchanged favor with Dr. Hasan, sex for grant money. He took Alexis Wiley from Huel Perkins and Fox 2 News, for the jobs of Charlie LeDuff and Jason Carr. Huel Perkins that has ties to Wayne State himself. He graduated top of the class, from Wayne State Law School. His protege, Erica Erickson, honored him at a program there a few years back. I used to follow her on Facebook, but she has blacked me. If I were Jason Carr, I would question my wife's relationship with Perkins. He is obviously a womanizer and philanderer that "befriends" the women at Fox 2. Last week, a woman claimed that both Matt Lauer and a producer was harassing her for sex. I wonder if that's the culture at Fox 2 News, Detroit. Both Erickson and Asher are beautiful women. What did he offer Wilson? We'll find out shortly, or not, because the Board Members are getting the new Attorney General, Dana Nessel on the job. She rivals Kym Worthy when it comes to dogging people and situations.

Dana Nessel
Michigan Attorney General
Unlike Clarice Starling, I don't have the answers in my possession. There is no friend that will help me sort through the pieces. We just have to "watch, wait and pray". Who Mike Duggan is I don't know. He could be the "The Great White Hope" and I just can't see it. Maybe Kwame Kilpatrick was just a great big thug that wore $3K suits and had parties at the Manoogian Mansion and murdered a stripper that performed there. Maybe Donald Trump is innocent. I really don't know, but now a man's livelihood is at stake. A Harvard graduate's career is being threatened by Duggans fake and phony games. He is "playing ball", but not well. I could say that he is losing. That means that he's going to pull out all the stops to stop the bleeding. He can't help himself. He's a psycho-path, and things are falling out of his control. Everyone doesn't think he's the best person for the job, anymore. He's going to fight to tell everyone that they have it all wrong and he's really a nice guy. People will believe him, but people like me will see it for what it is. He really doesn't do everything he does for the money. He does it, because he wants people to like him. He's a fair man and he is willing to always give a man something for his trouble. That's the sign of a positive man, but it more of a karma thing. When you take and never give, you disrupt the universe and can tilt the scale towards injustice...

Thanks to Mike Duggan, the City Of Detroit has another casualty.
